MOOSED CRIMEPUBLIC RECORDS DESK

Crime stats, arrests, maps and investigations — from the primary record, city by city.

A ProjectMoosed desk · Launched November 3, 2026

The crime record, without the spin.

Moosed Crime publishes what the public record actually shows: the police department's own statistics tables, the sheriff's own jail roster, and court outcomes — each number traced to the source it came from. Every city gets its own desk. The first is Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Each new city joins as a path on this hub — the same sections, the same sourcing rules, the same archive discipline. No city is added with borrowed or aggregator data.

What every desk carries

Stats

The police agency's own published tables, cited by table and period — reported offenses, labeled as reported offenses, never dressed up as outcomes.

Arrests & Mugshots

Bookings captured from official jail rosters into a permanent, searchable archive — searchable by name, booking date, charge and cause number — and followed to court disposition.

Investigations

Two labeled lanes: official investigations sourced to releases and filings, and our own investigations, run on primary records with graded claims — plus an unsolved-crimes bureau that files cases only from official cold-case listings.

Arrest is not a conviction

That line runs on every booking entry on this site. A booking photo proves a booking happened — not guilt, not a conviction, not current custody. Charges are allegations until a court says otherwise, and every archived booking is followed to its disposition.

Removal and correction are always free. We never charge anyone to remove or correct a record — ever. See the Method & Guardrails page.
