Corrections & Removal

Removal is free. It will always be free.

This desk never charges a fee to remove or correct a booking record — not for expungements, not for dismissals, not for anything. Indiana law regulates commercial booking-photo publishers who solicit payment to take records down (see Indiana Code 24-4-23 and 35-45-10.5). That is not this site, and it never will be.

Grounds for removal — no fee, no conditions beyond proof

Charges dismissed — send the dismissal or the case's MyCase / clerk record.
Acquitted, or a case was never filed — send the court record showing it.
Expunged or sealed — Indiana expungement (IC 35-38-9) or an Ohio sealing order (ORC 2953): send the order and the entry comes down.
Mistaken identity — the booking is not you: tell us what proves it and the entry comes down while it's checked.
Juvenile or sealed at the source — if an entry should never have been public, it is removed immediately on notice.

Corrections short of removal

Wrong charge listed, wrong bond, a disposition that has since changed, a name misspelled against the court record — send the correcting document and the entry is fixed, with the correction noted. Where the court record and the jail roster disagree, the court record governs outcomes and the roster governs what was booked; the entry shows both, labeled.

How to send a request

At launch, requests route through the ProjectMoosed contact channels with the booking's name, booking date, jail, and cause number (if known), plus the document that supports the request. A dedicated corrections address for this desk will be posted on this page when the site's mail is stood up — no request will ever require payment, an account, or a third-party “removal service.”

The standing notice

Arrest is not a conviction. It appears on every booking entry on this desk because it is the single most important fact about a booking record: an arrest is where a case starts, and the archive follows each case to where it actually ends.
