An honest map page
An honest map page: what the verified data supports today, drawn as what it is — and a plain statement of what does not exist yet.
As of November 3, 2026, the Fort Wayne Police Department publishes aggregate statistics tables and an activity log, but no public, geocoded, incident-level data feed — nothing that would let anyone draw a truthful pin map of where individual offenses occurred. Sites that show Fort Wayne pin maps are drawing them from secondary aggregators, not from the department. This desk does not publish pins it cannot source. When incident-level data is obtained through the public records route (Indiana APRA), this page becomes a real map, built block-level with victim details withheld.
Fort Wayne is organized in quadrants divided by Calhoun Street (east/west) and the Maumee River corridor, and it sits at the meeting of three rivers — the St. Marys and St. Joseph forming the Maumee. FWPD patrols and reports by quadrant. The diagram below is a schematic of that layout, not a crime-density map.
Schematic by Moosed Crime for orientation only. Quadrant boundaries in Fort Wayne follow Calhoun Street and the river corridors; exact patrol boundaries are FWPD's.
Share of all reported offenses in FWPD's cumulative Jan–Apr 2026 table (total 1,540). This is the truthful shape of reported crime citywide in the department's latest published period — the starting point any future incident map has to reconcile with.
